My favourite picture is
this. Holidays, 2018 It
is my favorite of many photos I took that day visiting the Chungará Lake. It's
part of a great journey, because to get to this lake you have to climb many
hills and slopes, for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. That day we started from Arica, a group of
students and me. First our trip was delayed because the bus deteriorated, so we
had to take a very old bus that would take us to the lake. To climb it was, difficult for us, because the altitude affected many of my partners and they began to faint. 😷
We were told that in order to avoid feeling bad we had to consume coca tea or eat pieces of grass every 10 minutes. But for fear of feeling bad I ate 2 whole coca leaves all the way. I didn't feel the symptoms of my classmates but I did start to feel drugged and very sleepy.💆So getting to the lake and being able to take nice pictures was a big challenge. On the other hand, the lack of oxygen at 4,500 meters above sea level is exasperating!!!.😭In conclusion it's my favorite picture, from a worthwhile experience.💛
